What makes a good Irish pub?
It is the Guinness, the fish and chips, the Irish stew, the atmosphere, the live entertainment, the patron's, the warm and friendly welcome, the storytelling, the conversations or the craic.Actually, it is all of the above and more.
If you really want to understand Ireland and it's culture, then go into a pub.
Failte opened in 1998. It is over 6,000 square feet. It was designed in Dublin by O'Brien's Irish pubs. Failte is the first Irish Pub in Canada to incorporate several different concepts in one premises. There are six areas in the pub that each have their own different sense of atmosphere and theatre. There are many authentic handcrafted furniture and antique type pieces of genuine Irish bric-a-brac that adorn the many nooks and crannies throughout the pub.
However, it is more than just bricks and mortar. Like a pint itself, it is something that settles over time. Failte has grown to be the most popular Irish Pub in the GTA. The pub's newest edition is the largest heated patio in Mississauga. This patio is full of character and characters, a place to feel immediately at home. There is an extensive selection of fine imported beers.
There is no better way to experience Ireland!
